Everybody just needs to read Jpod by Douglas Coupland.

I don’t think there has been a book that has ever made me laugh so hard. Seriously, everything in it is like liquid gold.

With Peter Benson (Greg), Emilie Ullerup (Kaitlin), and Kyle Cassie (Kevin/Klownsworthy) from CBC’s jPod! They were at Fan Expo Vancouver for their new movie together, Death Do Us Part (starring and co-written by Peter and his wife Julia).
Funny story… I saw Peter and Julia going down the escalator as I was going up. I pointed to Peter and said, “I was waiting for you!” and he actually recognized me when I stopped by their table! I told him I was a huge fan of jPod and we chatted for a bit. Then he told me to come back later because two other cast members from jPod would be there, and he introduced me to them as the jPod fan!
God I am such a fangirl.

“she thought about her life and how lost she’d felt for most of it. she thought about the way that all truths she’d been taught to consider valuable invariably conflicted with the world as it was actually lived. how could a person be so utterly lost, yet remain living?”

ACTUAL FANGIRL MOMENT

rrclarkin:

So I downloaded that movie “Dakota” — for obvious reasons.

(CHAD DONELLA)

And I’m three minutes in and his character just said the most perfect thing in the whole universe, this movie is in my top favourites right now just from this quote.

“Who moves to Vancouver? It’s like deciding to move into a Douglas Coupland novel.”

OH MY GOD. I JUST PAUSED AND SAT HERE AND FREAKED OUT ON THE COUCH FOR LIKE TEN MINUTES.

PERFECT QUOTE IS PERFECT.

Must watch this movie

Quote reblogged from Laura Caruso Lives Consciously with 35 notes

Jason once told me that eye contact is the most intimacy two people can have — forget sex — because the optic nerve is technically an extension of the brain, and when two people look into each other’s eyes, it’s brain-to-brain.

Quote reblogged from Flor de mal with 13 notes

Time ticks by; we grow older. Before we know it, too much time has passed and we’ve missed the chance to have had other people hurt us. To a younger me this sounded like luck; to an older me this sounds like a quiet tragedy.
